Spicy Indian-Style Noodles are the prefect blend of Indo-Chinese Street food and bold Indian masalas. Loaded with crunchy vegetables, tossed in soy, tomato and vinegar and spiced up with samabr powder and pav bhaji masala, these noodles are fiery, tangy, and absolutely irresistible. 🛒 Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • Noodles – 2 to 3 cakes (as per pack instructions)
  • Onion – 2 (sliced)
  • Carrot – 1 (julienned)
  • Capsicum – 1 (sliced)
  • Cabbage – 1 cup (grated)
  • Beans – 10 to 15 (sliced thin)
  • Green chili – 2 (slit)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Water – as needed to cook noodles

Sauces:

  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp

Masala Mix:

  • Sambar powder – 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala – 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala – ¼ tsp
  • Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Hing – a pinch

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Noodles

  • Boil water as per noodle packet instructions.
  • Add 1 tsp oil to prevent sticking.
  • Add noodle cakes and cook for 5–7 minutes (follow pack time).
  • Drain completely and set aside.

Step 2: Stir-Fry Veggies

  • Heat oil in a wide pan.
  • Add slit green chilies and onions, saute briefly.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, fry until raw smell disappears.
  • Add carrots, beans, capsicum, and cabbage.
  • Stir-fry on high flame for 2–3 minutes (retain crunch).

Step 3: Spice & Sauce Mix

  • Add sambar powder, garam masala, pav bhaji masala, chaat masala, crushed black pepper, salt, and hing.
  • Mix well with the veggies.
  • Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar.
  • Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.

Step 4: Toss Noodles

  • Add boiled noodles to the veggie-masala mix.
  • Toss quickly with two ladles/tongs for even mixing.
  • Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes on high heat.

  • Serve hot with a drizzle of chili sauce for extra spice
  • Pair with Manchurian or Gobi 65 for a full street-food style meal
